There’s a reason that some mass-produced treats are wildly successful, there’s just something compelling about them. Dairy Milk chocolate and Oreos are two such products, so what better pairing could there be? Here Cadbury put that idea out into the world with their Dairy Milk Oreo Crunch.

Taste & Texture
As usual for Cadbury chocolate, it’s very sweet. There’s the strong cocoa taste of the Oreo layer surrounded by the white vanilla filling—which is quite rich and delicious—in turn coated in Dairy Milk chocolate.
There are three main textures—the crunchy Oreo, velvety vanilla filling, and the crackle of the outside Dairy Milk layer (depending on the ambient temperature—I ate it on a cold day).

It’s okay, but adds up to less than the sum of its parts. Cadbury actually do another similar product that has bits of Oreo distributed through the vanilla instead of a single layer, and it’s far better.
The problem is the texture—somehow having so much Oreo results in it being too dry.
I doubt I’ll buy this again.
