I couldn’t resist picking these up when I first noticed them in my local supermarket, such is the standard of Magnum ice creams. The question though, are they merely a marketing gimmick to spur sales, or a solid addition to the line?
Strawberry flavored ice cream with strawberry sauce, surrounded in white chocolate.
The ice cream inside has a strong strawberry taste, and a tartness that melds well with the sweet white chocolate. As is usual with Magnum ice creams, the chocolate has a quality taste to it, and is the most enjoyable part.
The crispiness of the chocolate and the smooth ice cream are complementary. My only problem is that the tartness of the ice cream detracts from the creaminess of it.

The Strawberry & White Magnum is a nice addition to the line, but second-tier behind the company’s more decadent sauce containing double-chocolate-layer offerings, which are on a different level.
I’d buy again, but only if the options were limited.
Thanks for reading, and I’ve written more reviews here.
