The title of this picture is Cinerealism 2. Of course it’s a variation on Cinerealism, but not one I expected to develop.
It came down to having fresh eyes. Waiting till the next day is often the only way I can properly evaluate what I’ve been working on to continue the process. However, a night’s rest only goes so far. Conversely, weeks and months can really change my opinion of a composition, and the time often bestows new ideas for drafts I thought were dead ends.
In this case, I came back from a holiday overseas on which I’d done very little creating. On looking in my art archive I saw a bunch of previously rejected ideas I now liked, and this was one such.
It has a black and white partner called Cinerealism 3.
