The title of this picture is Fugue Mechanics 2. The original Fugue Mechanics is the same shell also on a rectangularly divided background, but very different in feel.
In these minimalistic surreal abstracts, I’m trying to show you the aesthetic joy I experience in simple shapes and patterns. (Albeit darkness-tinged, but to me that only adds to the joy.)
The caveat is that I have to be sure of the composition before going ahead. The very simplicity means there’s nowhere to hide compositional awkwardness.
