As is usual to find in Italy, some of which you can see in this photo, there were beautiful old buildings, art and scenery, lovely weather, excellent food, and a very particular old-city smell to the place. I’ve also done a brown monotone version of this photo named Chocolate Florence.
As you may have pieced together, Firenze is Florence in Italian. Or more accurately, Florence is the anglicised version of Firenze.
