This is one of The Twelve Apostles limestone stacks at Port Campbell National Park in Australia (which is well worth seeing in person if you get the chance).
I was aiming for a sense of space in this photo, and maybe loneliness if you will. I love the atmosphere evoked by the uncluttered composition, the single island with all that sea. There’s a soothing minimalism to it.
