View From Victoria Peak, Hong Kong

Art photograph of hills, ocean, and buildings from Victoria Peak, Hong Kong, by Joseph Westrupp.

Title: The Peak.

This is from the Victoria Peak viewing platform, but looking in the opposite direction to the city.

As beautiful as the main view of the city is, it’s well worth looking out the back, too.

I was fortunate to encounter some picturesque cloud, which I think makes this photo. The building that the viewing platform is on is actually pretty amazing in itself. As is usual in Hong Kong, it’s high, modern, but architecturally interesting also.

There are two other photos facing in the more conventional direction: Pick-Up Sticks, a red and dark green take, and a night shot named Hong Kong Nightscape.
